EasyLifting Stairlifts Terms and Conditions

 

1. Acceptance
The contract shall consist only of our offer and your acceptance of the Order Form and these terms. No other terms shall
form part of the contract or be binding on either you or us. It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet
your consumer rights. Nothing in this contract affects your statutory rights.

 

2. Delivery
We will endeavour to deliver and install your stairlift on the agreed date. However, in circumstances beyond our
reasonable control (including but not limited to weather, traffic, or illness), we will not be held liable for any costs
incurred if we are unable to meet this date.

 

3. Buying Back the Goods
We will not buy back the stairlift from you.

 

4. Power Supply/Alterations
You must provide a suitable 13-amp socket or fused spur exclusively for the stairlift. If this is not available, you must
arrange for one to be fitted before installation. If we agree to undertake additional work (as detailed in the Additional
Information section of your Order Form), we will engage a qualified professional, who may be a subcontractor. Please note
that some redecoration or carpet replacement may be required after installation.

 

5. Ownership of the Stairlift
You will own the stairlift only once you have paid all amounts owed under the order.

 

6. Warranty
Your stairlift comes with a 12-24 month manufacturer’s warranty, effective from the installation date. This covers parts and
labour for manufacturing or installation faults but excludes damage caused by misuse or third-party interference. The
warranty includes one free service within the first year and our commitment to respond to breakdowns within 24 hours, 365
days a year. Before the warranty expires, we will contact you to discuss an optional Service Contract.

 

7. Personal Data
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. For details, refer to your Order Form or our Privacy
Policy at www.easyliftingstairlift.co.uk.

 

8. Safety
If we cannot install your stairlift for safety or practical reasons, we reserve the right to cancel your order, even after
acceptance. In such cases, we will refund any deposit paid as soon as possible.

 

9. Liability
We are not liable for any unauthorised modifications to the stairlift. This agreement does not limit liability for death
or personal injury caused by our negligence.

 

10. Opportunity to Resolve Issues
If you experience loss or damage due to our negligence, we request the opportunity to rectify the issue. This may involve
subcontractors or repairs. We are not liable for losses that could have been avoided by your reasonable actions. You will
be consulted throughout the resolution process.

 

11. Governing Law
This contract is governed by English law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

12. Complaints Policy
At EasyLifting Stairlifts, we strive for excellence. If you are unsatisfied, inspect the installation promptly and notify

13. Right to Cancel
You may cancel this contract within 14 days of installation without reason. To cancel, notify us via:

A cancellation form is available but not required.

 

Effects of Cancellation

• We will collect the stairlift at our expense.

• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the goods or your cancellation notice.

• Payment will be returned via the original method (unless agreed otherwise).

• You are liable only for diminished value due to unnecessary handling.

• No reimbursement is provided for alterations to your staircase or surrounding areas.
